Hollywood Least Wanted was formally established in Los Angeles in 2011, with roots reaching back to a 2009 art and animal-welfare project.

2009
Where it began
Hollywood Least Wanted 3D
3D portraits of Los Angeles shelter animals were presented in a downtown gallery to draw attention to animals facing euthanasia and to support animal-welfare efforts.
2011
Established in Los Angeles
Hollywood Least Wanted, Inc.
Hollywood Least Wanted was formally established, creating an organizational home for continuing charitable and community-focused projects.
2012

4 Days, 9 Dogs — and beyond
The surviving site documents shelter-dog posts, “4 Days, 9 Dogs,” event photographs, supporters, auctions, and entertainment-based fundraising collaborations.
